AFRICA’s BRAIN BANK®, cordially invites you to its fifth annual summit and charity ball.    This event will unite all People of African descent, and continue to build the intellectual repository that is Africa’s Brain Bank; by bringing together a coalition of African experts in various industry sectors from across the diaspora and Africa.  The summit will address specific issues surrounding Food Security in Africa, Agriculture, Farming, and Powering the Food Chain. It will also match Business to Investor to Business in a Global Market Place.  Together, we shall end the brain drain that continues to plague the resource-rich Africa. We are urging all Africans and people of African descent to be a part of Africa’s Brain Bank. As the African proverb goes, “Charity begins at home.” So, we pray and implore you to join us for a spectacular weekend of knowledge sharing, business to investor to business (BIB) matching, fundraising and celebration, as we indulge in festivities for a purpose greater than ourselves. All 55 African nations, the Caribbean nations, and Africans in the diaspora will be represented.

The theme “Africa, The Mitochondrion of the World” likens Africa to the cell’s powerhouse, suggesting it is a vital and dynamic source of global energy, innovation, and growth, much like mitochondria are essential for generating energy within biological cells.
